Role of a writer Working as writer Writers are Crucial for the story, essential for the structure, story of the production, must be clear to everyone else exactly how the they want it to be, works closely to the director, who works closely to the producer, to nail what ideals/ story that needs to be told, the writer is there to lay it out and build a story, and develop characters from it, the director is there to make sure everything flows smoothly and is essentially the catalyst between the writers laying the story and the production crew and needs to be able to make sacrifices to scenes and characters for it to fit perfectly.  Lighting                                                                                                 For lighting, we took pictures of members of the group who were sat on a chair, we experimented with lighting and the colored gel slides over the lights after setting up equipment, to create different ambience through the different colors and tone of lighting.
